“This process has deepened the connection to my spiritual beliefs which are rooted in Brazilian culture. Working with and respecting Mother Nature is fundamental to African and Indigenous knowledge and way of life, which has been an important part of developing the project. We aim to address the notion of time and the urgency of time in relation to Mother Nature. With this collective power, each artist is invited to bring awareness to what they offer to the space both as individuals and as a group.”
